Albert G. Eberle, Jr., a member of the fire service for over 50 years, passed away in a Line of Duty Death (LODD) on February 15, 2009.

MCVFPA presented his widow, Ola Jane Eberle, with a Pennsylvania State Flag in his memory along with their condolences. An LODD memorial plaque was also presented to his widow from MCVFPA. This was the first plaque of this kind ever to be presented by this Association.
